All proposals are due to UROP staff in Room 7-104, by 5pm on each deadline date. See the UROP Paperwork section of the UROP site for coversheets and sample proposals.

  • Direct UROP Funding: Thursday, September 14, 2006

  • Supervisor/Sponsored Research Funding/Credit/Volunteer: Thursday, November 2, 2006

IAP 2007 DEADLINES

  • Supervisor/Sponsored Research Funding/Credit/Volunteer:Thursday, January 11, 2007. NOTE: IAP is not a Direct UROP Funding period. Students must be paid by faculty supervisors.

SPRING 2007 DEADLINES

  • Direct UROP Funding:Thursday, February 15, 2007

  • Supervisor/Sponsored Research Funding/Credit/Volunteer: Thursday, March 15, 2007

SUMMER 2007 DEADLINES

  • Direct UROP Funding: Thursday, April 12, 2007

  • Supervisor/Sponsored Research Funding/Credit/Volunteer: Thursday, June 21, 2007. NOTE: Undergraduates must pay tuition for summer credit, check with the Registrar's Office for details.

Some Important Dates that All Undergraduates Should Note

Welcome back to the start of the new academic year!

We hope that you have enjoyed your summer and that you are ready to begin the fall term. To help you get started we just want to provide you with some important upcoming dates and deadlines.

  1. Registration Day: Tuesday, September 5. Meet with your advisor and be sure to submit your fall registration form to the Registrar by 5 pm.

  2. First Day of Classes: Wednesday, September 6.

  3. First quarter Physical Education classes begin:  Monday, September 11.

  4. Fall UROP Direct Funding Deadline: Thursday, September 14. All students planning to request fall UROP funding from the UROP office, must submit requests to UROP staff in 7-104 by 5 pm. Late requests will not be accepted. See the UROP site for additional details.

  5. Add Date: Friday, October 6.  Last day to add subjects to Registration.

  6. Fall 2006 Supervisor Funding, _Credit & Volunteer UROP Deadline: Thursday, November 2, 2006. See the UROP site for additional details.

  7. Drop Date:  Wednesday, November 22. Last day to drop classes from your registration and absolute deadline for adding Fall UROP.
