Oh man, good times! CPW is here. That means meeting a lot of people and basically trying to convince people to be just like me (i.e. come to
MIT (duh!), live in
Next House, be
Course 3, sing in
Resonance, etc.) I've enjoyed it every year, although it is one of the busiest times of the year. I'm always running around promoting all the different activities I'm in, and performing all over campus. This Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, I'm going to be performing with other Next House members in the annual Next Act production. This year we're doing Singin' in the Rain. Of course, as with any large production, a lot of rehearsing is necessary...so I've been having very long nights this past week. Anyway, I'm also going to be performing a lot with Resonance (co-ed a cappella group), as you can see on our
schedules page. I'm also super psyched because my sister is coming up for CPW! Hopefully I get a chance to hang out with her. I decided it would be best if I didn't host her, since I wanted her to meet more people and see more of MIT. So, she's staying with her host in
EAsT camPUS. Ironically, I'm actually friends with the host, even though I didn't plan that at all.
At any rate...if there are any prefrosh reading this (or even current students or just naturally curious people) have any questions about anything at MIT (academics, social life, hints about how to survive and conquer this place, etc.), please feel free to ask.
