Events coming up in Boston...

I lived in Boston a few summers ago, and one of the (many) highlights was going to the Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl all-you-can-eat ice-cream festival.  It's great because you pay $7 to get in, and then you get to eat ice cream from lots of different companies.  I know some of my friends tried to eat every flavor....though I wouldn't recommend that....Anyway, the other good part about that is proceeds go to the Jimmy Fund, a cancer philanthropy.

Let's see....another good event you shouldn't miss is the 4th of July Celebration.  It's a pretty big deal...roads are blocked off, lots of police, concerts, good stuff...my favorite part is watching the fireworks, which are synchronized with the Boston Pops performance.  You can tune into the radio and listen along if you're not right at the Hatch Shell.  And really, the Hatch Shell is a great place to catch free concerts and such...

I'm sure I'll think of more events...I think I'll eventually blog about my NEW JOB as soon as I find out how much I'm allowed to talk about...

Happy Memorial Day!

I'm DONE!

I have to say, it's a bit of a weird feeling being done....I mean, I still have to graduate, but I've handed in all my papers, taken all my tests (though I'm still waiting for one grade on WebSIS.  Still, it's nice to relax.  The weather in Boston has been pretty amazing...

I feel like I want to talk about all the things I've done these past few days...but I think I'm too tired to go into great detail...however, I'll probably post a "things I wish I'd known when I was coming to MIT" post for any of those '10s that may possibly read this...(let me know if you're reading this, and feel free to email me or post a comment with questions)

okay, when it's not two in the morning, I might post something more substantial.

Should I do this?

I just found a spreadsheet that contains all of my comments from before the blogs were revamped.  I'm debating adding them all.

what do you think?

oh, and if you all want to find your old comment pages, they're probably in a similar place as mine:  modred.mit.edu/comments/srs.xls
(so yeah, it's probably your blog name replacing the srs)
